A seasoned strategic leader with extensive and diverse experience in public and government relations. Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities in the development and implementation of strategic communications activities. A natural relationship builder processing exceptional writing skills.

Owner of Up Country Communications Inc. and past co-owner of RM ConneXions Plus Inc. Prior to establishing these companies I was Vice-President of Public Affairs and Government Relations for Couleur NB where I developed and implemented strategic communication and government relations initiatives, provided media, crisis communications and presentation training for senior executives and organized and facilitated client events.

In my position as Director and Manager of Public Relations for NB Power, I was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and industry organizations, managing web site content, managing emergency planning of crisis communications and overseeing issues management. In similar managerial positions, I worked with Fundy Communications and GCP Strategic Communications in Saint John, meeting the needs of varied and complex client bases. I began my professional career working as a legal assistant in litigation and family law, giving me a unique perspective on the intricacies and legalities of client communication.

I have worked to serve a variety of clients, in both the public and private sectors, at the local, regional and national levels. I have provided communications-related services on issues that have been time-sensitive and highly confidential, requiring high-level strategic public and government relations experience to serve the specific needs of my clients.

With diverse experience and a strong network of business, government, non-profit and media contacts and relationships, it is my goal to help position clients to succeed in the rapidly evolving business climate in New Brunswick and across Atlantic Canada.
